Approximately twenty students showed up while another sixteen tuned in online for today’s IGNITE all candidates forum.
President, Vice President and Board of Directors nominees from both North campus and Guelph Humber took center stage in the cafe where they were asked questions from current President, Ahmed Tahir and Vice President of student affairs Lakeshore, Anna Bilan.
Topics that were commonly mentioned by candidates were mental health, creating awareness of the student council and insurance coverage.
Tensions rose when the floor opened for a question period to the audience.
