Girls who receive the Human Papilloma Virus vaccine are no more likely than girls that aren’t vaccinated to be promiscuous, said a recent study released in Pediatrics Journal.
The research team from Kaiser Permanent Center for Health Research followed almost 1400 girls over the course of three years to see whether more girls had sought birth control advice, tested for STI’s or pregnancy or had become pregnant than those who didn’t get the vaccine shot.
The study found that both group of girls had a similar rate of testing, diagnosis and counseling.
