Flu season is upon us and Humber College is gearing up to help students and faculty prepare themselves.
Humber is hosting a flu shot clinic, which is open daily from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will run until October 30.
While Toronto Public Health said the vaccine is only 60 per cent effective, it is still the best way to prevent the flu.
Registered nurse Josephine Fiorello said whether or not someone chooses to get the shot, it’s important to continuously wash your hands and be mindful of sharing germs.
