Fans celebrate Blue Jays Appreciation Day

The Toronto Blue Jays are giving fans one last thing to cheer for today.

Mayor John Tory announced that October 27 is Blue Jays Appreciation Day, in honour of the team’s recent playoff run.

After bowing out of the playoffs in Game 6 on Friday night in Kansas City, Tory felt the team deserved a day to be recognized for bringing the community and the country together.

Humber News took to the halls today to see how fans are feeling about the season that was and what the future holds for the team.
