Facebook “likes” may reveal user’s personal traits

By clicking “like” on Facebook, you may disclose personal information about yourself without realizing it. A study published Monday in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that Facebook “likes” can reveal users private information such as gender, race, religion, sexual orientation and political views.
