The eyes of the world will soon be focused on Brazil as the host of this summer’s FIFA World Cup. The tournament is set to begin on June 12, in Sao Paulo and will come to a close with the final on July 13, in Rio De Janeiro.
Colombia were dealt a huge blow to their World Cup chances when star striker Falcao suffered a serious knee injury in January. The 28-year old who plays his club football in Monaco scored 11 goals in 19 appearances this season before his season-ending surgery. He was Colombia’s top scorer in qualification, finishing with nine goals in ten games.
