Vaughan’s own Andrew Wiggins took to the hardwood at the Air Canada Centre last night, facing his childhood and hometown team, the Toronto Raptors.

His close friends and parents were in the crowd, with a lot of the hometown faithful cheering for Wiggins during the player introductions.

“I always love playing where I’m from… even though we didn’t win the game, I still feel appreciated and I had fun,” said Wiggins in a post-game interview.

He said he is thankful for all the fans who came out to see him and  will always represent Canada Basketball.
